Reserve back Pinnock suspended four games

Chargers backup fullback Andrew Pinnock has been suspended for four games for violating the NFL's policy on anabolic steroids and related substances, the league announced yesterday.

Pinnock, a seventh-round pick out of South Carolina last year, was inactive in each of the team's nine games this season. He played almost exclusively on special teams as a rookie.


Pinnock, who could not be reached for comment, will miss games against Oakland, Kansas City, Denver and Tampa Bay before rejoining the Chargers on Dec. 13.

Brees a Bronco?
Nobody is saying so, but the Denver Broncos have every intention of picking up a $6 million option on quarterback Jake Plummer. But what happens if Plummer fails to get the Broncos – who are tied with San Diego atop the AFC West – into the playoffs? If Plummer isn't the answer, free agent-in-waiting Drew Brees could be, according to the Denver Post.

Said Broncos coach Mike Shanahan, when asked about the Chargers quarterback: "Let me say this. When they signed their quarterback in the draft (Philip Rivers), there were a lot of people calling about Drew Brees."

Plummer looks great some games, then others its just like what the fuck....whenever I think dude is garbage, he puts together a good game....very inconsistent though, I think Denver could find a better QB

personally i dont see brees going to the broncos....i think Green Bay, Chicago and Miami will offer BIG bucks to try and get him. the chargers could still keep him if they label him a franchise player, i dont see them doing this though cause of money.

yeah they will, however there was no way to tell.. Brees doesnt have a very strong arm and the organization looked elsewhere. similar thing happend to cincy.....kitna did an awesome job last year, but because of the carson palmer signing, they were forced to play him

yea Grim, Plummer is way too inconsistent. Sometimes I write him off as a fake, then he delivers on the next game. Personally, I think Brees will go to Miami or Packers. I like Brees in SD but they already reserved $40M for Rivers, now they have to play him. At least they have a decent offensive line, which they didn't have last year and that is why Brees looked like an idiot and the team went 4-12.

^^^^they aint got to trade him, he's a free agent after this year. he can walk and sign wherever he pleases. after the year he is having, he will get big time offers. why would he stay in san diego, they basically slapped him in the face by signing phillip rivers.

PLUMMER IS LOOKIN' A LOT LIKE gRIESE. IF WE DON'T gO NOWHERE, YOU ALREADY KNOW. BUT I DON'T THINK BREES WILL END UP WITH THE BRONCOS UNLESS HE PERSONALLY LIKES IT IN DENVER AND DENVER ENDS UP CUTTIN' PLUMMER.
