Bluetooth Help

i got a free bluetooth today and i was wondering how i can connect it to my phone, all i have is the device and no manual. i tried to connect it on my phone but it says that no device were found, how do i make the bluetooth discoverable?

its on cause theres a blinking blue light, but how do i put the BT on discovery mode?

First off what brand is it and what model number?

Different brands have different ways of pairing

if it is one with a little flap were you talk close the flap hold the button till it turns purple then open the flap and the light will stay purple them do a search for it on your phone.

when its off, press and hold down the answer button until it turns solid



edit: or as other dude said depending on the brand, hold until the light blinks blue/red
