as far as Jazz goes I love me some Bob James.....if you check out Bob James "one" or "two" you'll notice alot of popular samples that have been used by numerous rappers, but besides that the shit is just good music

as far as blues go, my favorites are JOHN LEE HOOKER, MUDDY WATERS, MEMPHIS SLIM, HOWLIN WOLF, SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON, BB KING, LITTLE WALTER, LIGHTNIN HOPKINS, ROBERT JOHNSON, shit just to name a few.
with jazz I fucks mainly with JOHN COLTRANE & MILES DAVIS, as well as THELONIOUS MONK, LOUIS ARMSTRONG, CHARLIE PARKER, tha MARSALIS family & DIZZY GILLESPIE Bob James is aight, he got some good shit but allotta his shit is boring to me
