cuz it sells...ever since No Limit and Cash Money started that shit in the mainstream, its all people know and its sellin...thats my opinion...personally i don't like that type of shit...a chain here and there is koo, but 6-7 songs on your album dedicated to that is redictulous...

I'm on Kavie's side 'cause that's what's sellin and when shit like goes mainstream that's seems to be standard when it comes to rap, that ya have to spit about that shit constantly, it pisses me off how shit like "Hood Rich" "How You Luv That Vol. 1 and 2" "I Got That Work" and other bullshit albums and songs in Cash Money's catalog goes platinum all tha time, them niggas ain't worthy of getting BMI royality checks.

Bling Bling been around from bacc in the days with the big gold chains and all that goodness, its just on a bigger level now...Not only southern rappers rap about bling and ice...Can't hate someone for flossin' if they can, would ya rather them rap bout killin in every song...

Look at No Limit and Cash Money...you take cats from the gutter and they flip they're whole life into a gang of loot...of course they gonna floss, everyone wants what they cant have or couldnt have...bein iced out just shows how big you ballin to some cats...

Its like sayin every westcoast rapper is a Crip or a Blood...Don't judge the whole south by Cash Money and No Limit...listen to the whole south...Tricc Daddy, UGK, Outkast, Z-Ro, gang of cats holdin it down...

I personally dont like it but that is what sells....I think the trend is going to change soon, you can only rap about cars and money for so long, back in the day they kept it in perspective a little bit when the east coast rappers rapped about it, it went good with their rhymes, but alot of this shit they are saying nowadays is just out of the blue, doesnt even fit in with the songs or the whole song itself is about blinging...you couldnt give me a free cd of that bullshit
