Love Keeps Miles In Portland
Mar 31 - The Portland Tribune reports that the Blazers could have traded Darius Miles (4 years, $34 million remaining) and Theo Ratliff (2 years, $23.3 remaining) before the trade deadline in February to the Knicks for Penny Hardaway and a 2006 first round pick from the Spurs, but team owner Paul Allen vetoed the deal. According to the newspaper, the deal died because Allen couldn't shake his inexplicable love affair with Miles.
