What a dope ass song. I don't generally listen to hip hop, but I came across this one the other day and was very impressed. Two thumbs up. What else does he/they (group or solo?) have that's worth a listen?

oh yeah,by the way,its a group,a producer and a MC...gift of gab(MC) and chief xcel (producer)

and just on a personal note...gift of gab is the most underrated artist in the history of the bay area

why dont you use google and find out for yourself, smart guy

i mean whats the point of telling you whats worth a listen if you 'generally dont listen to hip hop'??? our opinions wouldnt even mean shit. so i guess its up to you to find out what you like and dont like..
Sorry, going to an artists web site is not usually the best way to get an honest/unbiased opinion of his music. That's why I asked a site of fans who don't have any reason to promote his music for their opinion and suggestions.

Then why do you have 1,000+ posts on a hip hop web site?
I make a distinction between "gangsta rap" & hip hop. That's why I have 1000+ posts on this website. I listen to (or at least used to) gangsta rap. And read my posts and count how many of them even pertain to rap/hip hop.

I would agree that blazing arrow is their best work. Pick up Blazing Arrow, give it a listen. You might hate it the first couple times through, thats usually the first sign of a really good cd. Keep listening.

Well that's good, but hip hop is a broad term for a set group of related cultural expressions, not a type of music, you can't listen hip hop. Rap is hip hop, but hip hop isn't rap.

Thanks for the suggestions. I got the A2G and Blazing Arrow from my homie. I haven't listened to Blazing Arrow yet, but I like A2G a lot. Every track is dope..

Gift of Gab is one of the most under-rated rappers period. Let alone IMO he is one of the sickest out of the bay ever...but that's just my opinion.

*edit* I know Gab isn't originally from the bay but he has been there since 1991 and that's where he made his name...therefore to me atleast he is a bay area rapper.
