I could be wrong, but generally speaking, wouldn't small towns have the most opportunity to make the biggest change? They have the most room to grow and change, and the smaller population would make it look like a much more dramatic change....
Yeah that makes sense right there.

Anyone not from suburbia checking internet data ? :knockout:
Don't know quite what you're getting at. But I figure Sixxness or Tadou will research it and prove me right or wrong, without making me look it up because truthfully I could give a fuck. By the way, not sure if you were talking towards me, but I have never lived anywhere that could be considered suburban. This has been one of the most interesting topics on this board in a minute tho, at least in my opinion.

MAN, YALL GOTTA REALIZE THERES ONLY LIKE 3% BLACK PEOPLE IN WASHINGTON. HOW MANY PEOPLE LIVE IN THE STATE? A LITTLE OVER 6 MILLION, SO 3% OF 6 MILLION IS ONLY 180,000 BLACK PEOPLE IN THE WHOLE STATE. 76% OF 180,000 IS 136,800.

NOW LETS LOOK AT GEORGIA. A LIL OVER 8 MILLION PEOPLE IN GEORGIA. 26% IS BLACK. 26% OF 8 MILLION IS 2,080,000. IM SURE THERES WAY MORE THEN 136,800 FAT NIGGAS IN GEORGIA.

JUST LIKE THERES WAY MORE SKINNY NIGGAS, AND WAY MORE YOKED OUT NOGGAS WIT 21 IN BICEPS, MORE TALL NIGGAS AND MORE SHORT NIGGAS. WHEN YOU AINT GOT BUT A HANDFULL, ITS NOT HARD TO GET A HIGHER NUMBER "PER CAPITA".

IT AINT GOT SHIT TO DO WIT NIGGAS NOT BEIN HEALTHY

Are you down to expand on this? Not attacking you at all. I just don't don't quite get what you are trying to say and/or get at. Besides the whole actual geophraphic size issue, which is what I assume you are saying, it seem to me like people are people and the actual size of the town has little, if anything, to do with it.

I disagree with that, seems that poverty brings hopelessness/violence. Could be wrong tho. Anyone got statistics?
Hopelessness and Restlessness are very different. Blue-collar towns don't run 24 hours a day, so you aren't compelled to keep on going around the clock. When everything shuts down at a given time on a regular basis...any `momentum' you may build up from time to time disappears. This isn't making a whole lot of sense, but that's the best I can explain it.

Big city folk have time to get angry. Blue collar towns don't, so they get sad, not angry. Same thing that is going on in countries like Mexico. The people don't get violent and angry--they just get gloomy. Poverty has little to do with it, really, its the dynamics.

Not hardly. You need Capital, and small towns don't have it. The big cities are BUILT FOR people with money, and thats where most of them are...either that, or very nearby (suburbs). Still, they know where the money is and where to open their businesses--where all the disposable income is, i.e., middle class college students and minorities. Again...not many of those in the small towns.

I just heard that the average apartment in Seattle is now something like $800+.....do you understand how fucking crazy that is to someone like me? I lived in a 3bd duplex that cost $500/month. Place was huge too, and not out in the middle of nowhere--it was a few blocks from downtown.

Good post. The smaller the size of the population, the more difficult it is to get a sample large enough to make any big conclusions. Whether or not this Health organization did, I still can't quite determine, but you're right with what you're saying.
