I can agree with Tay about alot of wierdo shit going on......Alot of the shit Sicx was convicted for was in his music but people took it for just another nigga kickin sick lyrics cuz thats what he was known heavily for.....I mean heres a dude with the talent on the mic that could of matched Jay-Z, C-Bo and Scarface but was charged with 69 counts of molestation against his own child.
The song Return Of The Baby Killer got both Lynch and Sicx a bad look even till this day......I still get people that won't listen to their shit cuz of that song alone..Lynch had more core controversal lyrics and content then anyone on Death Row put together....Then the reports of a dude going on a rampage shottin his bitch and his roommate then committing suicide from listening to the song Locc2dabrain....The reports of Lynch home being home invaded while him and his fam were held had gun point while suppodly BMR affiliates were responsible for the invasion cuz they were looking for Lynch material.
The entire X-Raided shit was a story and a half......Recorded the album Psycho Active with the kind of content at only age 16.....Arrested @ 17 for gang related homicide.....Releasing an album over the fone from the county jail thats a classic......Releasing music from the pen with crystal clear vocals with the help of a CO who snuck vocals on a tape recorder out and turned it in to BMR.....All the law suits filed against BMR and X-Raided following his incarceration........Was an active gangbanger prior to his incarceration and after incarceration according to reports....Not to mention his own lyrics being used against him to help convict him.....Was cellmates with another controversial rapper by the name of C-Bo and even wrote 3 songs for Bo's upcoming album.....An album that got Bo locked up cuz the content violated his parole conditions....Getting his music band from Tower Records in Sac while artist like Snoop stood trial for murder at the same time and wasn't band.......Just way too much story about X......He needs to drop his autobiagraphy he promised years back and im sure there will be more detail in specifics.
Mr. Doctor from what I know was a active banger in his early days on BMR and was even in the Hospital from being shot by some Bloods at one point during the creation of his album Setripn' which got the entire city acting a fool when it dropped........Also being locked up for gangrelated homicide and later being labeled a snitch that hurt his career and reputation.
Gangsta Dre at only 16 released his debut on BMR was an active banger at this time who along with his twin brother Hogg had already spent half there1 teen years in and out of YA and juvenile facilitys and word on the street was Dre was living the shit he was rapping about and the nigga was only 16 years old......Every single artist that ever signed was being ripped from the label.
And lets not forget Big Lurch who's album Itz All Bad was distrabuted through BMR after being convicted for first degree murder and cannabalism due to being under the influence of PCP.
