I DON'T KNOW.. I FEEL CASH MONEY HAS BETTER ARTISTS THAT ARE STILL DOING IT BIG TO THIS DAY... I'M NOT TRYNA SHIT ON NO LIMIT CAUSE THEY DID THERE THING BACK IN THE DAY BUT I FEEL CASH MONEY MADE BETTER MUSIC.. I WAS NEVER A BIG NO LIMIT FAN BUT THATS MY OPINION I COULD BE WRONG
You made good points. I think its more like cash money has more longevity. P fucked up when he "allegedly" didnt want to pay his workers Percy still won to in teh end he rich as fuck now and dont have to do music anymore.

Idk B.G it's all on u vol.1 and vol.2 is what made me start fucking with cash money back then. That shit sounded better then anything coming of no limit at the time it came out. I can still listen to old cash money music right now. Most of that no limit shit sounds like garbage to me now that Im older. Makes me ask my self what was I thinking buying that shit. No limit best artist was fiend and mac

That's not where I was going with my statement. I could care less who succeeded on either camp. There's plenty of rappers out there that are succeeding, and are weak ass rappers. Just to name a few, Nelly & Chingy. I'm talking about what camp I liked more, musicwise.

CASH MONEY SOLD MORE RECORDS AND WAY HOTTER THAN NO LIMIT EVER WAS..
Master P sold millions underground, and before Cash Money was ever really noticed. Cash Money isn't undergroud anymore. They're selling albums because they're catching the attention of 90's babies, who seem to be so easily amused by that autotune shit.

After selling millions of records, he decided to sign his company, No Limit Records, to a straight pressing and distribution deal with Priority Records. The deal was solidified with Priority in 1995 and No Limit Records released TRU.

The Cash Money Records albums released before 95:

1994
Pimp Daddy - Still Pimpin'
U.N.L.V. - Straight Out Tha Gutta
Mr. Ivan - 187 In A Hockey Mask
Lil Slim - Powder Shop
PxMxWx - High Life

1993
PxMxWx - Legalize "Pass the Weed"
U.N.L.V. - 6th & Barrone
Lil Slim - The Game Is Cold
B-32 aka Baby - I Need A Bag of Dope

1992
Kilo G - The Sleepwalker

The albums No Limit Records released before 95:

1994
Master P - The Ghettos Tryin to Kill Me!
Various Artists - West Coast Bad Boyz, Vol. 1: Anotha Level of the Game
Lil Ric - Deep N tha Game
Various Artists - West Coast Bad Boyz: High Fo Xmas

1993
TRU - Who's Da Killer?
Sonya C - Married to the Mob

1992
Master P - Mama's Bad Boy
TRU - Understanding the Criminal Mind
E-A-Ski - 1 Step Ahead of Yall

1991
Master P - Get Away Clean

So I don't think Cash Money is hotter than No Limit ever was. Because No Limit sold millions before 1995, and after 1995, No Limit continuted to sell millions, and made some dope albums that are still dope today(well to me anyway).

NO BODY ON NO LIMIT COULD FUCK WIT B.G. WAYNE TURK OR JUVE..
Big Ed, Mac, C-Murder, Fiend, hell even Mia-X. But one is dead and two are in prison.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST CASH MONEY STILL MAKING RADIO HITS MIXTAPES VIDEOS ECT
They're hella corny now, though. Back in the day, they wore a lot of blue, now they're all of the sudden Bloods, and from New Orleans?

THE NO LIMIT TANK RAN OUT OF GAS IN 98''.. NO LIMIT DIDN'T REALLY FALL OFF CASH MONEY JUST TOOK THEIR SPOT DURING NO LIMITS HOTTEST YEAR SO THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING
I'd say No Limit fell off after 98. They made some good albums here and there after that year, but nothing too spectacular (except WWIII, dope album)

To me, Cash Money just some pop singers now.

As for Master P...

P. Miller has also made history as the first hip-hop entrepreneur to own a cable television network, Better Black Television, (BBTV) whose aim is to promote positive messages and content to the African American culture which is set to launch in 2009. Executives include Denzel Washington, Derek Anderson of the Charlotte Bobcats, DJ Kool Herc and Bo Derek.

On October 26, he'll star in a VH1 special called No Excuses.

Looks like he went in a different direction after his music career. And seems to be doing well.

That's cool. Back in the day, I was mainly into No Limit. Since 1994. I didn't even know that Cash Money Records existed until I saw an ad of 400 Degreez in The Source, though.

I just don't know how you don't like albums such as TRU 2 Da Game or 99 Ways to Die or Ghetto Stories. Oh well, to each his own...

JUST BEING HONEST
I hear you man. Good point.

Regardless, each camp made good music. I still have "real" CD's from both of them in my collection.

It just looks like Cash Money won cause Wayne is all over the place and Master P and everyone else faded in to the blur of existence.

Fuck it, I'm a bump "400 Degrees" for ol' times sake
