In an apparent fit of anger at his assumed cheating, a 40-year-old Philadelphia woman is in jail after attacking her husband while he slept. In her rage, she violently ripped off his delicates and left him bleeding profusely and in critical condition.
In an exclusive interview with the local ABC news television show, the man, 52, says his wife of 11 years is bipolar, and that he couldn't believe she attacked him so viciously. He insists he was not cheating on her; that she simply got the notion in her head that he was, and decided to take matters, literally, into her own hands.
According to the victim, who has since recovered both his balls and his dignity through a surgical reattachment at Einstein Hospital, said of the incident,
"I mean she just grabbed me all down there and yanking and yanking and tearing me up with those fingernails."
The wife remains in police custody facing psychiatric evaluations and the possibility of attempted murder charges.
The man is expected to fully recover.
