BILLY HAS has put allotta ppl on in the bay and beyond aswell! he hasDONE A LOT shit w/US SINCE 1997 when we first met up with him! bam magazine,murderdog,xxl,urb and hella other write ups! any1 ever been inside his music closet?(nohomo fags) DAYUM! dude got 3 copies of every cd and tape from the bay! we have broadcasted from his house in oakland back n the day numerous times & even made a how to build ur own pirate radio station video from his house:

Billy Jam really helped me to break my music into other regions back in the day. He had the Hip Hop Slam and he would run ads where he would put an artists album cover in the ads then you could call the Hip Hop Shop and he would give you options and you could press a button on your telephone key pad to hear certain new music. He put 3 of my albums on there and I started getting calls from everywhere.
Because of Billy Jam, executives from Japan would come out to The Music People and buy boxes of my Cassette Tapes and Cd's and take them back to Japan (thats why I move so much product in Japan). After The Music People closed down those same executives from Japan would go and deal with Showtime and buy boxes of product from him. Billy Jam helped so many Bay Area artists.
