The Angels were favorites in the AL West from the start, with the A's lack of a bullpen from the start it was incredible that they stayed in first for so long. Angels were the favorites and the A's made them fight til the final weekend of the season.

The Giants were in a similar situation. They held on til the very last day of the season, I don't think anybody really expected that. I don't think either team collapsed, they did better than anyone expected.

Ya, the A's blew it harder than any of them.
It was a combination of the A's losing a lot towards the end...and Anaheim having a great September.

I feel bad for the cubs. I hope they take it all one year soon, just for their die hard fans.

yeah, the a's had a meltdown for sure. i totally thought they were in the playoffs, no doubt.

the giants are just frustrating to watch...i went absolutely fuckin insane when they lost that game against the dodgers...they deserve to not making the playoffs with their bullpen problems.

^yea seriously, if we had a bullpen then we would be in. If we had Nen healthy instead of Hermanson's bitch ass pitching in the 9th with a three run lead, we wouldve won that game then have Schimdt pitching the next game and him dominate then dont know what would happen after that but the big question that you could say about the Giants season is What If...

does steriods affect your eye on ball cordination (sp) didnt think so, he is still the greatest hitter of all time, who owns home plate and changes the whole game of baseball. So quit hating Dayton who the fuck do you like. So yes i admit we would suck if we didnt have Bonds and you said we would we be at the bottom of the division because how much Bonds means to the team. Like I said Bonds is the best that ever played the game.

Wrong, Take Santana off the twins and there on the bottom of the division, doesnt make him the greatest pitcher ever.

And oh my teams are:

Braves
Cowboys
Spurs
Red Wings

And ill toss in the Tigers

Naw they wont be at the bottom because there division sucks so does the Braves. Who do you think is the greatest hitter of all time, if not Barry. Who else gets walk with the bases loaded-Barry. Who is a threat everytime he gets up-Barry, who had 200 fewer at bats than Beltre and still had 45 homers 3 behind beltre-Barry. Who batted over 360 back to back years-Barry, who is the only one with 350-350, 400-400, and 500-500, homeruns and steals-Barry. I think this shows that he is true indeed, the greatest player that ever played the game, but thats my opinon.
