I saw him mention that, and that's the first mention I heard about an edited version. So, I checked over at Wal Mart's website (because they are the kings of edited music) to see if they had it listed, and all it gave me was the Absolute Power edited version.
hahaha and this was in the same thread... sorry .... i thought i'd seen nick say that in some other thread. hehe

Is there going to be an edited version of Everready??
I know I'm not supposed to talk about this, but... in the leaked torrent back in the spring there was an edited version of No Can Do (Y'all Can't Cope With Us). This along with the Madden version of The Beast, and in an interview Tech said there was a version of "Fuck 'em Girl" called "Shake 'em Girl" in consideration as a single. all this evidence leads me to believe that there most certainly will be a clean version of Everready.

Yeah, just because there are clean versions of a few songs out there, it doesn't mean there is going to be an edited version. The Beast had to be heavily edited to get on the Madden soundtrack, No Can Do was also part of the 25 to Life soundtrack, etc.

I would think if you did put out an edited album, it would only help your sales. Now, I do understand that edited versions take more time and money to make, so that alone might be a factor not to have one. It almost seems silly to talk about, beecause the majority of all music fans buy the explicit lyric versions anyhow. But if one of his singles does blow up the airwaves and MTV/BET, look out; there could be a much larger market for those edited CDs once a younger crown becomes infected.
