Yeah, I know what you mean. plus you'd have zero feedback.
I know stuff does move on there, though. I used to always do the "let me know when this item becomes available" thing...and they'd pop up, but be sold right before I get a chance to look at it.
only other option I see, is starting a website, or craigslist...

so about the purchased insurance part, in certain countries like germany, i think the highest is like forty something dollars and you can't purchase no higher. could you explain a little about why you can't purchase higher and what if a package gets lost even tho you purchased insurance.
I don't know. I'm not the postal service, but I've never ran into that. Are you in the US? If so, we can add insurance up to any amount as long as you're willing to pay for it. If not, you need to get with your post master on that.

Des I heard craig's list was owned by ebay. If that is the case that would be out too. Someone suggested godaddy.com but I saw all these options on there that I didn't know if they applied to selling privately your stuff. So stuff does move on amazon? I just wonder how I'd be able to compete with regular sellers who put up $200 price tags on cd's. Even if in reality my cd's might be in better condition and are legit while guys like derrick glass and others on there sell their reprints/fakes and misrepresented condition cd's and still do well. I always thought usually the quality of sellers was better on ebay than on amazon/gemm/etc... So if I was not happy with them as a buyer why would I want to become a seller on there and compete with them?

Next time you should get the tracking number when you send something like that off. That way, if he files a dispute trying to say that he didnt get it...you can post the tracking number and have the dispute closed.

Well, they do let you add a small description for your item. Maybe you can put the ring code, and just stress how legit the product is. It also lets you add a pics to the main page for the album. Maybe if you tag your pics...

but Craigslist is free. Only problem is, it goes by location...so somebody would have to search your area.

best bet is to maybe make your own webstore.
