What's wrong with Bapes ?
Aint nothin wrong with Bapes if your shit is real, but most of yall be wearin fakes if you paid under $196.00 for your shit then your shit is more than likely fake. Can't get no bapes or Jordans from some dude sittin in a parkin lot or some dude you met or on some bullshit internet website, yall killin the game. Yeah man I'm 32 and let me say I got a rather lavish collection of outfits probably around $40,000 worth of shit, so can't nobody tell me shit bout fashion. Most of those oversized shirts is lookin foolish, my pants still sag but I'm noticing that a more tapered look is in, shit in the 90's we sagged but our pants for the most part were not fallin off our asses. Many of yall around my age know we was sportin them Girbaud Brand X's not those shitty ass Girbaud shuttle jeans and we was sportin Guess pascal jeans, they had more of a tapered look but you could still give em a little sag. Yeah I would agree that oversized look is startin fade a bit. My partnas nephew who is like 17 was tryin to hyside cause I had a Lacoste shirt size xxl that actually fit and he's standin there lookin like he's on welfare with a dingy white tall t- shirt and some fake ass Jordans ( I mean Air Gordans) tryin to hyside on me cause my shirt actually fit and isn't oversized. You don't know how to dress if your polo top is oversized that shit is supposed to fit just right especially a real Lacoste shirt. But yeah the majors got the game fucked up, they wantin bullshit artists now who cater to viacom television and radio outlets, and shitty ass club songs. Everything is bubble gum. But also most rappers aint got nothin original to say on the mic everybody be braggin bout materialistic bullshit or make dumb ass songs, or come up with the same ole' thug bullshit, don't nobody seem to got some insight to shit, aint no artistery no more. Nothing is deep or thought provoking. Shit you can be street but come with some knowledge, depth and insight. Fuck what they rap about on tv or the radio. The Bay Area needs to take it back to the streets but with a more intelligent hustler mentality. Up until recent times Oakland was always known for having people who were sharp thinkers hustlers who were deep and would out hustle you, and add the game of life to their rhymes. People didn't just rap about havin money they let it be known that they were inteligent thinkers who could produce money on the streets because of their knowledge of the game. All that seems to be out the window now. Right now I'm pretty much just feeling T-Luni as far as Bay Area artists, I'm still a Yuk fan but I like Yuk when he's focused, I also like Del and all of Heiro as well as the Delinquents. Most everybody else aint puttin good shit out but thats ok it saves me a gang of money not buyin their weak ass shit.
