It was hard but I had 2 go with Faulk. I watched him play from his freshman to junior year @ SDSU & Dude was on another planet. He really was. Jones-Drew AD & Ron Dayne come close but I gotta go with Faulk.

I know there are a few names missing that didn't make the list. Larry Johnson only had one great season @ Penn State. Same with Willis McGahee. Corey Dillon only played one year of major college football. Nepoleon Kaufman, Eric Beheinimy, Rasham Salaam, Edgerrin James, TJ Ducket Tavian Banks, Byron Hanspard, Troy Davis & a few others were all really good but the I couldn't think of anyone else topping the names I listed.

^true, but that senior season he had was something many "great" college RBs could never do.

Rashaan Salaam on the other hand definately deserves to be mentioned.

Ricky Williams gets my vote. Adrian Peterson would have if would stayed healthy. The Saints gave up damn near their whole draft to get Ricky Williams.

Ever heard of a guy named Bo Jackson? There's also this guy Barry Sanders who was pretty tight too.
Yeah they were tight but if u looked @ the thread title closely it said from 1990 to present. Barry had a great jr. year when he won the Heisman but that was in 1988. Bo Jack final year @ Auburn was in 1984. That's why they didn't make the list.

To the person who said Tyrone Weatley & Ki-Jana Carter......... Weatley deserved to make the list but I'd rate several other backs over Ki-Jana Carter.

I see a lot of people voting for Bush. I'm not knocking that vote cuz Bush was super bad but I think most of the people who voted for Bush are prolly young & never actually seen a lot of the other player listed actually play.

One word....Faulk. He parlayed a backup role into a Hall of Fame NFL career and set a single game rushing record in his first start.

Oh, by the way, Barry Sanders = greatest college back EVER!
