Best Rock CDs - 1985 on...

The way I would define this: At least 80-85% of the songs on the CD are total classics.

My list:
Stone Temple Pilots - Core
Nirvana - Nevermind
Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream

Edit: If I start saying all time it would include "obvious" classics like The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, etc.

I'm more looking for personal favorites, but they have to be considered by you to be "classic" - Don't include obvious ones like The Wall or Hendrix Experience

I dunno if this would be considered rock.. but Blind Melon's self-titled album is definitely one of the most underrated/overlooked "grunge" albums of alltime

it pretty much only got recognition as "those guys who had that fat bitch in the bee costume".. but the album is really (excuse me for use of gay term) beautiful. Peep the song, Drive.. easily their best song.

I think it would be safe to add every Pantera album on here except maybe Reinventing the Steel. But for purposes of this thread I'll add..

Pantera - "Vulgar Display Of Power" (I always thought they should have named all their albums this.)

Offspring - "Smash"

Nirvana - Nevermind, In Utero, and Unplugged

Alice in Chains - Dirt, Sap, and Jar of Flies

Rage Against the Macine - Rage Against the Machine and Evil Empire

System of a Down - Toxicity and Steal This Album

Mad Season - Above

The Mars Volta - De-Loused in the Comatorium

At the Drive-In - Relationship of Command and Vaya

Tool - Aenima and Lateralus

Queens of the Stone Age - R and Songs for the Deaf

Deftones - White Pony

Modest Mouse - Lonesome Crowded West and The Moon & Antarctica

Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights

Kings of Leon - Youth & Young Manhood and Aha Shake Heartbreak

That's all off the top of my head.
