Best Program For Graphics And Logo Design

I'm new at this and was wondering what program is the best for producing 3D logo's and designing graphics.Pretty much just want to work with the music industry/entertainment. Thanks

the best program for making (vector) logos is illustrator. & if you want to add depth & texture & other effects, you can always bring the logo into photoshop (best program for creating raster graphics) once you create it.

in photoshop, you can give things the appearence of being 3d with effects such as bevel & emboss (or other filters/effects), but if you actually want to create real 3d stuff, you would need to buy a modeling program such as maya or cinema 4d. but those programs are very expensive, and not for beginners..

there are also free websites that can generate 3d crap.

oh, apparently (after googling) i see that there's some program called xara3d; for 3d text & graphics, which is wayy cheaper than the other 3d programs.

but i have no idea what the quality is like.

Illustrator has sum 3d features, its nothing compared to like 3d studio max and shit..but u can make sum cool shit with it. 3d Text is really easy to do with it
