I find it surprising how little respect most(not all) of u are giving my question that I posed....IM not talking about dynastys(but that does make a team more impressive), im talking about what team was the best the year they won....if u look at the talent on this team, along with its coaching/special teams, they were a GREAT team..no question, big plays is what makes it happen.....and it happened.....only teams so far that ive seen mentioned that I think would be serious opponents would be the niners and cowboys dynasties....maybe only because of their elite qbs AND Deion Sanders....as for the patriots "dynasty" to each their own....but id say they got lucky with their shit.....shit call against Oakland in the playoffs and thats Word...lackluster opposition in the superbowl....perhaps Grossman does put a tarnish on this victory, the Colts have been a great team though....2 years in a row they won at least 10 victories to start the season....thats big time, sure there RUN defense sucked 4 the most part.....OK! But they had the takeaways/turnovers.....I just look at the Colts team and see star players in every element of their franchise, just gotta be honest....I think my point is valid
I'm starting to think this is a hoax

Couldnt help but get this one started.....even though its not a dynasty, this Colts team was pretty serious...Where do u rank them in all time greatest NFL teams?? I was thinking pretty hard....the only team that I would say that is on a level with them would be the early 90s Cowboys teams and probably really only because of Emmit Smith....what team(s) is the best and how do u rank em? Im biased....but I still say that this team is pretty stacked
What are you smoking? What you have to do is look at the team and the number of flaws and then look at who they had to face. Both teams were flawed all throughout the playoffs and the SuperBowl and neither will make it next year. You have average quarterbacks going to the Super Bowl these days.

They are in no category of best teams. You probably be better off comparing them to Pittsburghs team last year but thats it.

Also, the most recognizeable of all past SB winners. It also helped that they had a song.
And Walter Payton....Mike Singletary....Richard Dent....Willie Gault.....Jim McMahon....Ron Rivera....Steve McMichael and of course Ditka and Buddie Ryan. Yeah, that was a dope ass team

(btw, in Chicago in 85/86, my school made the superbowl shuffle our schools song, listened to it everyday on the bus ride home)
