The new Federation album, "It's Whateva" definitely had slaps. It just came out too late. Don't even try to pretend like you weren't getting stewey to 18 dummy, College Girl, or Get Naked You Beezy, even if it was months (or even a year) before it dropped. Personal favorite track - "Got Me Fucked Up"

While I wouldn't classify Turf Talk's album as "hyphy", it definitely emcompassed hyphy aspects of the bay lifestyel and slapped front to back. West Coast Vaccine (The Cure) was one of the best albums of the year last year. There wasn't a bad track on it.
