I also believe L.L. made the best album. many other artists mentioned might have had a song or two that was hot, and many mentioned were regional at best, not taking anything away from them. L.L. radio album in my opinion was a pivotal point in hip hop where it was make it or break it. The Radio album helped push rap to another level, I can still go back today and pop the tape in and appreciate the music.
Real spit 50 Cal. I was around when Radio dropped & it had a huge impact when 95% of the rappers out were dope. It was ALOT more challenging back then.
How old was Point Blank when he came out. First time I heard him was back in 1992 on NIP's SPP CD. I was highly impressed with his flow. Prone To Bad Dreams must of had bad ditribution cuz I never seen it in Cali & ehen I heard him on NIP's CD I looked all around for his music & never found any unti 95 when he dropped Mad At The World & I didn't like it.
Point Blank joined S.P.C. in 1990, his first album came out back in 1992.
He sounded hella young on that Prone To Bad Dreams record.
I´m not sure how old he was back then.
Man many of yall just listing your favorites and are extremely biased.....come on Mac mall..hahaha..please, dont get me wrong I bumped his shit, but only ghetto theme.
