Like you said you have never even heard a Benzino Verse and obviously you havent listend 2 either of Eminem's disses towards Benzino. I don't think anyone is "hating" on the Source or Benzino. It's just obvious (my opinion, of course) that people aren't fond of his tactics. No, he's not the better rapper, so what is the point of him challenging Eminem? All his motives sound like promotional gimicks and bad ones at that. Is he allowed to do that? Yeah, and he'll probably continue to put gangs of ads in the Source but what good is it doing him? Like Loki said, expensive ads, small returns.
It's getting him a lot of promotion, but doesn't seem to be working to well as seen by looking at his sales. He's been around for awhile and so has RSO, but again, just because you've seen them on soundtracks, they've been doing shit etc., doesn't mean that they're any good or that people are feeling them.

And Rappages was out of L.A. wasn't it?

magazine compared to the source, back in the
day. the latest of the source looked just like
the old rappages, tho: "22 pages of ads &
3 articles." (the birdman cover)
but while the source covered
the west coast in it's prime cuz that's where
the money was, just as the $$$ now is in
jay-z & co., the source still favors the east
over the west. look at how many up-coming
artists from the east get more profile than
new cats from the west. it's politics.

What don't I have knowledge of?When was my point about Eminem vs Benzino? I posted that Benzino has had some effect on hip-hop at some point and it should be respected to some extent,even if it's very minimal.Maybe you should slow down a little when you read my post because your putting a total 180 on my replies.I'm only stating that the Source/Benzino has helped by giving some westcoast artists shine.Mademen put Kurupt and a few other kats on their album..the list goes on and on potna.
You seem like maybe your a huge Eminem fan,I can understand that,but don't blast me for adding info for the don't knows.
fact is,Benzino has done shit for hip-hop and the westcoast.

w/ haterism, whether valid or not, & that's
all that people have to point out to knock
