I heard the Redemption album and I will say it's a decent CD. The production is tight especially. Got a tight track wit Jadakiss, Daz, Wyclef, Mario Winans, and more. Those Eminem disses aren't as bad as peopel would expect. The album has a lot of different production and styles. I'm not gonna hate him just because he uses bullshit tactics with his magazine. I don't really care, but the CD is decent to me.

My nigga please! Em is not the best. He is good at what he does. Ras Kass spit harder than Em to me. You can't say Em don't get away with way more shit then the normal emcee. However, do you think Eminem would last more that two seconds if he rapped about money? Are you kidding me? You think America would want to listen to a WHITE, MALE rap about having MONEY? There is no way in hell!!!
So using that argument, should CMR records be hated on by the most popular magazine in hip hop? Does Jay-Z and others do anything different from Em? I've heard Jay-Z, Eminem, Ja Rule, Nas, Nelly, and so many more cookie-cutter rappers saying that "they're the best thing in rap since ____". Eminem used Elvis to fill in the blank; what Jay-Z doesn't boast?
Don't get me wrong, I think Eminem was out of line with saying that, but he's been out of line from day 1. All these rappers on top are way more out of line than I think Em is since they rap about money, materialism, selfishness, fuckin bitches they don't get until they've sold millions, etc.
I dig Em cuz he's a breath of fresh air compared to rappers talking about fairtale lives they've seen on Scarface and Goodfellas. He raps on what he knows and lives. Whatever...... I'm don't want to sound like I'm defending him and you're opinion is your own. I just want to let you know that 1) yeah Em was out of line and hey if you feel culturally/racially offended there's nothing I can say, but 2) I've been offended concerning GEOGRAPHY, MATERIALISM, THE WAY MY GENERATION IS DEPICTED, THE MORALS COOKIE-CUTTER RAPPERS PUT OUT, and the list goes on.......
