I think the reason why alot of people feeling the hyphy movement cus that shit ain't about beefing with other artists to make a name of yourself...I mean there are artists from the bay that got beef but the successful ones right now ain't doing it the lame way to jus to make a name for themselves...I think fans are tired of that shit...I think thats why ATL is successful too..I mean there are artists out there that got beefs but ain't gotta make a hit record to do dat shit..

Theres a difference between beef, battle and bullshit. Battle= Mc Shan vs KRS1. Bullshit= Yuck vs Everybody that raps. Beef= Pac vs Biggie. Beef when it's amongst street niggaz and their entorage creates serious problems. Plus most of the shit now is just someone trying to come up off of the next persons hardwork...Call it the 50Cent formula. Nas and Jay-Z, Biggie and Pac...those were tight because it was to giants clashing AT THE TOP. But most of the time it's one on the ground throwing little pebbles at the other cats window, just hoping to wake him up and piss him off.

I mean some beefs are entertaining like the old dre vs eazy beef like they were just going back and forth clowning each other and talking shit and you would look forward to hearing each new diss from them, but then you got the beefs that are real and lives are ended because of them like Pac and Biggie. as long as the beef is only on record cool once it crosses over to the streets thats when it becomes a problem
