man if double r is signed that would be great. he's been out the light for a while now. the last couple of albums after seasoned vet didnt really satisfy me. his lyrics are always on point, its just the production needed to be better. he could probably put the bay back if promoted right this time by def jam. check out his lyrics on baby bashs song "i can show ya better than i can tell ya" from his last album "super saucy". double r killed that song. his lyrics keeps on getting better and better. real talk.
richie rich was on def jam and him bein dropped aint have nuthin to do with them not knowin how to market west coast artists
warren G was on def jam.. if that wasnt west coast marketed well i dont know what was
richie rich fucked up in thinkin that he could get over on the label (bootleggin.. which everybody knows about and a couple other things that u probably dont)
but yeah.. one of the most unique voices/deliverys ever
but he is too old to make any national impact.. 14 & 15 year old white girls will not feel him
Never under estimate the power of ONE HIT RECORD. I'm tellin you. Of course it's a long shot, but ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. Especially in today's music market.
The true test will be if Dr Dre drops this year. Dre is 40.
