i thought carter 1 and 2 were both solid cds....but i really couldnt get hyped for carter 3 after he switched up his style to the gay style he uses now
i was hoping C3 would be good, never hurts to hav a new cd to slap, but honestly theres only 2 or 3 songs with any replay value....and his delivery is too retarded on alot of the songs for them to be played more than once or twice

YES. weezy is definiitely overated for being a lyricist. Hes a great performer and a song maker, but as far as lyrics go, which is the biggest part of being the best rapper, he falls very short. he has retarded punch lines that are not charasmatic and are sometimes just goofy as fuck. Yes he has a hot line every now and then, but who doesnt? Great Artist... Sure, Great Rapper, Not even close.

Wayne is hella overrated...but I don't think he's hella weak like some people say.
I'm only feelin a couple of tracks off the new album though, I liked Carter II a lot more. I think Wayne has some creative concepts on this one...but he relies on some off the wall metaphors to make most of his songs interesting...the problem is his metaphors only come out sick half the time...and kinda dumb the other half....so I dunno...Carter III seems kinda like a mess to me...all over the place.
