fuck your rap group homies...fuck your independent record label...and start sending your demos out to real big-time record labels. how the fuck else you gonna get rotated nation-wide? the bay is fucken up man fucking do something...get a new sound that stands out and makes some label's ceo be like "oh shit...he sounds tight...we need to sign him...he'll appeal to the whole country..." e-40 is all we got mainstream and i just hollered at like 5 of my folks on the east coast and they said no one gives a fuck about 40 out there sayin he sound hella weird and shit...the bay needs a makeover yall do somethin...make music that people wanna hear...not music that sounds like shit your homies wanna hear...whatever this probably sounds like a bunch of jumbled bullshit but shit...the bay aint doin shit...we need singles rotating on every damn radio station across this muthafucka man...dont stop til you do it like that...

/\ of course 40 is a legend to us...but for instance...i was just listening to gasoline which is clean as fuck to me...but the point is some dumb broad out in florida aint understandin what that fool is sayin in that song i guarantee you...listen to every mainstream song on the radio and you will notice they aint using much slang...they speak simple so that the dumbest club broad somewhere knows what they're saying...just think about that shit...us dudes around here know what 40's talkin about but people nationwide have no idea...you gotta relate to everyone...

good point but that is what makes 40 the legend he is. he dont come wit the same old shit every time. he a game spitter. so fuck em if they dont get it he breaded up anyway. if 40 wasnt usin all the slanguage he would be just another tight rapper. its what make him Jordan to their Pippen. But besides that I think The Federation gonna blow. The wifey and her friends even diggin that shit and they hate the shit I listen to. and I got my homies from the south on it to.

you make some good points but we dont have major lables in the bay they dont gotem in the south either but you know what the south did they said fuckit we got our own sound we are gonna push it in our area and what happened well I will tell you what happend the south supported their artist it aint nothin but luv out there the arists even started to support eachother with no hatin involved and the lables came runnin why because with no major push they were sellin 100 of thousands of units because the whole South supported the movement they even came up with the term new south and the veterans of the south embraced the idea man they all work together and its about the music and the betterment of there region not the egos and the money thats what the bay needs but I dont think we got that Southern Hospitality in our blood so until then we keep shootin ourself in the foot the game is wide open and the South and East are afloat this could be one of the last chances for the ball to come back to the west coast its time to unite and support or fall victim to the phrase "the Bay is Dead" just my 2 pennies

It's funny that you spoke of the New South and how it made their area grow, but when Locksmith came wit that New Bay shit every body in the BAy got all pissed off. I ain't gone lie I feed into that shit of dissin the New Bay, but shit then I heard some of they shit and I hope that is the bay's new direction.
It is not about sellin out, nobody should do that..rep yo shit, but that don't mean do the same stale ass shit that was done 9 years ago! If it ain't broke don't fix it right? Well the BAys music scence has been broke for damn near a decade..that is crazy! It is time for a change. AIN'T NOBODY EATIN OUT HERE! Look at 40's sales he ain't even goin gold...and that is all we got-that's insane. WE NEED NEW ARTIST WIT A NEW WAY OF REPRESENTING THE BAY PERIOD, and this may piss some cats off, but it is true. The bay is in need of a new form of leadership cause what we got ain't workin.
I like 40, but time to pass the tourch...he can't run forever. But like I said we as people need to embrace change and not be afraid of "new niggaz reppin the bay".

It's all about support locally. The south supports the south, the east supports the east, hell even L.A supports L.A...but somebody tight comes out of the bay, and the bay cats hate on them, cause they'll be fuckin damned if somebody might make it before they do....or somebody might steal their shine. Why did Bash blow? Because he moved to the south, and the people out there took him under their wings and supported him. The bay needs to support the bay, the GOOD bay, not the garbage.
