I def agree wit what u saying. And I understand what everybody else is saying like how he cant be 100% Bay because the rest of the game aint feeling what the Bay has been pushing, but it just seems like YB has forgotten where he came from a bit. Game ain't put the mic in YBs hands, San Quinn did. I'm not trying to start no family feud I just don't never hear YB give it up to nobody in the Bay, that's why nobody in the Bay gives it up to him. But he's quick to give it up to hella other LA rappers. Maybe I'm tripping...

i agree 2 i mean YB has a couple new songs out that have sum reference to quinn or mess but not stuff that is hella noticeable i cant name any tracks of the top of the dome but i kno theres gotta be some out there..but yeah he does give cred to the LA niggas now cuz thats who he rollin wit now but he still be reppin Bay fo sho tho

It's so many problems in the Bay rite now maybe YB is smart to stay away. I mean shit Frisco, Fillmoe in particular is fucking crazy. Every rap nigga seem to be beefing wit each other. But the Bay in general is fucked up. Rappers beefing with radio niggas, no-namers dissing cats that's been in the game for 10 years. Aint no respect, and aint no unity. YB is building his empire and leaving all the bullshit behind....I guess the BAY gotta just respect it.

YB aint from fillmoe he is from Fairefield , nigga was raised out here when he was in middle school but he aint from the Moe.

I knew the nigga when he 1st touchdown in the sco when he was in 7th grade. look YB is doing big things not being in the bay but he still reps bay so it dont really matter if he from fillmoe or whereever else ppl say he from he still a bay artist and he stay reppin that shit..he's a nigga who hasnt forgetten where he started jus cuz he dont mention ppl on his raps no more dont mean he forgot...

Yet Short has repped The Town for 25 years, and aint never had no problems. Is YB lying when he says, "I was born in 84 in a city called the Sco."??? Somebody holla at me...

He lived in Fairfield for like a year or 2 hes not "from there".

by moving to SoCal he started getting more opportunities and branching out.... although he hasnt released an "official album" hes been dropping cd's with original production so thats essentially an album anyway....And with all the nationwide fans he gained once he moved out to socal, why should he be so concered with the bay?? People know where he's from, he doesnt need to go out of his way to get bay area features all the time just to please people. Just look at his last few cd's they were hosted/put out by bay area djs.

And to say he forgot about the little people would make no sense cause he has yet to really make it.
