Bay Area...No Love for Ya Boy??

This probably pety as hell, but I've noticed that out of all the new Bay Area rappers whom are attempting to make noise nationally, Ya Boy outta Fillmoe is the only one that doesn't have a strong Bay Area backing. You never hear any rapper out hear giving him a shout out...Not even his supposed cousins San Quinn, Messy Marv, and Bailey. You stay hearing FAB's name in other rappers mouths, Clyde Carson's, The Jacka's, Beeda Weeda's, everybody seems to have a strong BAY backing but Ya Boy. How can he blow if he don't even have the support out his area?? YB better leave that Malibu shit alone and come back home!!

i think alot of people feel like he abandoned the bay

maybe he isnt in the same mindset as the rest of the bay

which seems to be work with as many people as possible and put out as much work as possible

maybe he is focused on his own career and realizes that the whole nation clumps bay rappers into hyphy and he feels he has more to offer lyrically than that so he does more collaborations and work in so cal which is w/e to me because i always hear him rep frisco in his music

you do have a point. for example E-40. He was still fuckin with the small fish in the bay rap game while still fuckin with lil jon and all them other mainstream cats. before and during his come up with the mainstream.

aye YB still reppin bay where ever he go and even if he is in so cal it dont matter he doin his thing and i think thats the important part he gettin his name out there and really isnt that what rap game is all about jus makin noise and gettin ur shit heard...thats what YB is doin and yeah he does need a new album which from what he said is comin but who knows...
