bars in sacramento

monkey bar (usually a dj on the weekends, cool college/midtown type crowd)
limelight (poker room, covered and heated smoking patio, always lots of people)
round corner (cool midtown spot to get a cheap drink and a great burger)
monte carlo (same as above, minus the burger, add assorted old regulars....hahaha)
pre flite (one of the few spots you can still smoke in....no ladies, just cheap drinks)
o'malleys / fanny anns / back door (old sac spots)
press club (djs/live music cool crowd)
zebra club 912 beers on tap, kinda small spot, but lots of people)
14th & broadway....forgot the name.

well that's different......all the above are downtown/midtown area
arden area has the corporate type bars....chevy's, hooters, fridays, but there is a swinger type bar called Trinos out there that's always good for somethin'.
Mandangos is cool, uh......let me think
In the North, there's the same corporate spots too, plus on the border has a good bar with lots of action.
Cheaters on west el camino, american spirits on northgate, chevy's, blue gecko, and crawdad's on garden hwy
if you're lookin' for st patricks spots....hit downtown or just stay at chevys/gecko/crawdads on the river.....TONS OF PEOPLE

That place is comedy. At any given time you'll find an assortment of riff raff in that piece.
Only spot I know where you can get a bowl of noodles, booze, hustle, gamble, and get in a fight all in the same place, same night.
