with the top 2 so close to each other. obviously bonds is still slightly better than pujols but then again as the experts say MVP means what did you do for your team. Cardinals and even the Dodgers both made the playoffs on pujols and beltre's backs while bonds could NOT carry the gaints to the playoffs.

StL made it in on Pujols back?????? Hmmm I guess Roland, Rentaria, Walker, Edmonds, etc. had no hand in it either...regardless, the #s for Barry were almost the same as the #s for Beltre, except he did it with 230 ABs taken away from him...if you take away 200 abs from any of those players, their #s are nothing.
