BAD AZZ was on DAZ'S website a few weeks back saying that this album was supposed to be a comp. and BIG HOLLIS is an ex-friend now and he knows that it ain't no real BAD AZZ solo & blah blah blah... I don't believe one word he said cuz this album is TIGHT!!! HOLLIS laced them beats plus it was in the SOURCE and was given 3 mics. Not once on the album does anyone mention anything about a compilation. I believe it was a money issue but other than that this is a BAD AZZ solo. Holla back with how yall feel about it. Even the intro and credits are all straight plus it was promoted on this website back in late 2002. Holla

i saw two reviews of the bad azz album and they pretty much spoke down on the album... sayin the production was decent at best. They were harsh on the song that had a neptunes type of influence callin it a poor imitation.

i think i saw the reviews in XXL and Source.

who follows the reviews in THE SOURCE or XXL? Come on now. I know yall way above listening to those biased uneducated opinions. I know I bump it just like I bumped his 1st two and HOLLIS laced them beats right. F*ck what ya heard.

The beats were alright. Bad Azz was saying he recorded a bunch of tracks with Hollis that were never supposed to be a solo album and they ended up being released as a solo album.

IMO, this album is shitty compared to Personal Business, it just doesnt compare and is a step in the opposite (wrong) direction for Bad Azz. It sounds like a bunch of leftover tracks that were thrown together as an album...

I was listening to it today and I was gonna say the same thing. There was one song in the middle of the album that hit me like that. But, I was actually surprised by Big Hollis's production. It doesn't sound like his usual by the numbers stuff. I thought the cd was ok after one spin.
