this shit riles me up to no end...i'm not even gonna get into this. some of you sound like some whiny little bitches with hurt feelings. anytime you include an entire group of people in one statement, you are being ignorant, period. crying in here doesn't do anything but expose your sensitivity...grow the fuck up, your tears don't accomplish anything.
no, i dont think its too off. use of race as a way to classify large divisions of humans originated with carl von linne when he was the first to place humans in a taxonomy of animals, in his "systema naturae" in 1758. johann blumenbach was the first to use the word "race" in 1775 when he used it to classify humans into the five divisions of caucasian, mongolian, ethiopian, american, and malay. to my knowledge, those are the facts, but maybe we're reading different books.
but all im saying is that if youre smart enough to know that race is based on nothing, why would you keep perpetuating it. if black ppl with youre attitude gained power, racism would still exist, only it would be directed towards a different group. you hate the oppressor, but want to become the oppressor yourself. of course this country was founded on racism and its an issue (though this country isnt the only one that suffers from it, it occurs in other parts of the world worst than it does here), but how are you gonna counter racism with more of it. youre the one who really needs to read a book if you wanna play any role in our societies progression, cause with that attitude youre only holding your ppl back

It's a lot of ignorant rap listeners in the Bay. But it's also intelligent listeners too, those who understand the dynamics of race and racism. To my brothers, I know it's hard out here, but so what, you got to be harder. Racism is a weak excuse for a man. To my white brothesr, admit that racism is real and help us change the shit. Everybody in between, do your part too. All I know is that I need peace in my streets...Real life.

I just read this thread.. Backpack rapper is not offensive to me.. and yes Rockwell is a backpack rapper too. the nigga had dreads and smoked beedies just like everybody else... We rocked cyphers on tlelgraph on sunday afternoons, and spoke supreme mathamatic...
