The first time I ever heard of Woodie was when I was working in a door manufacturing warehouse. We used to listen to the radio, and I remember hearing "Flared up, tearin' it up! Norte Sidin'!" over all the machinery, and I was like, "Fuck yeah, finally one of us gets airplay in this bitch!!!" Now its that bullshit Mocos Pero Locos, all they play is skrap shit. If you want to catch some Norte Beats, you have to listen to KNOZ 96.5 and you have to be in the Midtown area. The radio stations here suck ballz! They portray themselves as "The home of hiphop & R&B" yet snitched on 96.5 and give no airplay to local artist.
