I like the Burgundy Van Music better than the Street album, the street album sounds too polished(prolly what they were goin for since this was supposed to be a real release)

Burgundy Van Music got some straight classic songs, Wax's verse on Gatez >>>>

i got the street album and a bunch of older releases i never got a chance to listen to all the way through so i been listening to the old shit more cause they more my speed.

wax metaphors on the street album and lately in general have been crazy. the flow is all his own as usual, but he really competing w/dudes like fabolous and lloyd banks now as far as his similies.

the "a-wax groupie" called it the album of the year....Dj fresh called it a "classic", why no snide remark about dj fresh?

I think the album is a contender for album of the year, but thats not saying much...not many good cds come out anymore. Its def not a classic IMO
Because djfrresh is mentally challenged..and i just don't clown on retards. That ain't right, man.

not a classic but a solid album....
i gotta agree w/ rusto
the first savage timez and 65 gz. are definatly wax's hardest shit and imo "CLASSIC"
his style now is way more polished and lyrics seem way more thought out now which is dope and his metaphors are ridiculous but the flow on his first two original albums were hard as fuck!

Upping this: A-Wax "The Street Album" second week on Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums only dropped one spot from #75 to #76...no promo, no distro....getting shit together now for the next release. Much bigger moves. Thanks for the support. Even to those who didn't like the album or may not like Wax but checked it out anyway.

I agree with you Folkz, Thug Deluxe slapped from beginning to end, lyrics and production was on point like a motha fucka. The Street Album is slap though
I like the new album way more than Thug Deluxe. I haven't heard Thug Deluxe that much, but I don't like the slow beat production of that album. I like the production on his newer album way more. Lyrics are good on Thug Deluxe, but the beats were lacking to me.

All of his albums are slap though regardless.....
