IMHO next time a battle is made everyone should be allowed to post the link to their music once or twice. I'm not coming down on anyone but some of you have been making 20 posts with nothing but links to your music. A lot of the music I'm hearing is cool (which is why I didnt want my votes taken away) but when you post 800 links what do you think is gonna happen? No that doesn't stop me from posting 800 links of self promotion either but let me remind you some of the tight shit is slippin through the cracks because the people arent re posting the links (I'm not talking about myself either).


What do I see coming out from all of this? I say we do a siccness comp (if one isnt in the works) and donate the funds to the site (for bandwidth and server upkeep) and to a non profit organization.

i think thats a great idea, we should do a siccness comp called siccness beats or somethin like that... i didnt start the thread, i just kinda waited 5 or 6 pages till i tried to make it come together as some kinda contest, cause nobody was voting for the first 5 pages.
i think next time we do a contest like this, we should have a poll at the top of the page with all these producers names, and peeps can pick their favs that way. this contest was ran as fair as i could, but there is no way to stop cats for voting for their friends. i would like to say that there are some awesome producers on here and i honestly have not heard one beat that was wack. i feel that some of the ones who have the least votes are really good and i would vote for them if i had more votes to give.... nobody on that list is a loser, and several cats who aint even on the list should be... shout out to ssproductionz for starting this thread... holla

Yea on the next one, make it so each prod only posts his link once. Actually, what would be even better is you have one thread that is all the producers posting their links, basically a CONTESTANTS THREAD, and make it so if dudes have to post up their links within 2 days or some shit. Two days later, then u got a thread with a poll set up so that people can vote.

That way we aint all going through hella pages and shit, and producers wont have to worry about their links being lost within 12 pages of posts too.

And I was waiting for Bumpus or Nonstop GA to join this shit but bumpus only made a reply. Seriously this site has a gang of tight composers.

I'd be down to help mix a compilation or help pay for what needs to be done if cats really wanna do this shit. Spare a beat, song or verse and write that shit off on your taxes. Non profit to help this site and to help a charity.
