its all good homie. my guys are bay area producers. mosley is the godfather of the bay area sound, murdoc is one of his pupils, assassin has been puttin it down for 15 years and i wouldn't call him bay area sound as much as i would call him str8 gangsta and he's one of the most respected producers in the bay. as for versatyle, i think his name suits him well, because he is very versatile. we are shopping his beats to everybody from san quinn, to south central cartel, to nas, to justin timberlake, to erica badu, to jordan knight. he has lots of styles, but he is mostly known for his slappin ass slumpers.
i peeped ya beats out ssproductionz, and i think u have lots of talent. not really my style, but you got skillz fo sho. we all have diff musical tastes and it's great that we can come on here and voice them to eachother. you're probablly better than most cats on here, but versatyle is a monster. i aint dick riding like dirtbag arson says, but i chose to manage him because he is one of the best in the business and rick rock has been one of my closet homies for over 20 years, but i still feel vers is the tightest out there. mike mosley and assassin have both cosigned that as well. mike wanted to sign vers after hearing 2 songs. he's also very humble and is willing to help anyone else get into the game. good luck with you career, you are gonna go far.

maybe, when the winner is chosen from siccness, vers will give that guy a shot at the crown. but whoever wins this shit better come correct. so far sky high is killen em, but if i was a betting man, i would say it's gonna be close with murdoc, checkmate and B.C., and if mark7 jumps in this shit will really be off the hook...

Dj pimp, i think saying mosley is the godfather of the bay area sound
is some what closed minded. If you asked me that Question id have to say
theres more then 1 "godfather of the bay area sound"
TC, The enhancer, ant banks, and of couse Tone capone to name a few.

I gotta disagree with ya SSProductions. Mike Produced alot of stuff for cats all over the Bay. TC, The Enhancer damn near only messed with rappers from frisco.Ant Banks put it down for the O but never really worked with rappers from other citys. But Mike Mosley, Sam Bostic and Studio Ton are the Godfathers and the originators of the Mobb Sound.

i hope you're joking... i was not the one who crowned mike mosley the mobfather, that is a title he has been given by every single rapper, producer and or media outlet that covers bay area music. him and sam bostic are the inventors of what is known as mobb music. there was plenty of music in the bay area before mike and sam, but they have been credited with what is now known as the mobb sound. mike produced over 150 records, infact, there is not one major factor in bay area history who mike didnt produce, including sacramento...
dont get me started on the fact that mike also launched the careers of TQ, C-BO, E-40, CELLY CEL, RICK ROCK, BIG LURCH, MAC MALL and about 100 others too. there are many who contributed to the whole mobb music movement, but i think it's well documented that mike mosley and sam bostic are the 2 producers who put mobb music on the map....

Yes but u said Bay area, your right about tc,enhancer, jt put'n it down for SFC
Ant banks=oakland, capone also did stuff all over the bay and them some
Eg. "Smile for me"
But you cant put your finger on just 1 producer.
He might have started that 707 sound with electronic basses and wild leads.
and from the beats i hearing they still sound like that.
like some n2 deep/latino velvet/steady mobbing comp <--(was that u guys by the way)
