8-8 at the worst
joey harrington will have a good year behind an effective pass blocking unit (nonexistent in atlanta since the early 80s)

receivers will have much more productive years with a real nfl coaching staff and gameplan. their primary job will now be to get open and catch the ball, not block for our rbs or qb rushing the ball.

defense is going to be a big question mark with a lot of new faces, jon abrahams glass body, and the injury to rod coleman, the anchor of our dline.

new coaching staff alone guarantees we wont finish worse than 8-8.

jerious norwood may not be the starter, but he will touch the ball a lot this year especially catching passes out of the backfield. the only reason he isnt starting over dunn is dunns blocking abilities.

phil, i have much respect for your footbal knowledge, but you are starting to sound like a raider fan. the falcons aint comin close to 10-6 this year, although they do have a soft schedule. i am pickin the bucs to surprise commin outta the nfc south this year....

it is the bucs turn to win the division and the saints turn to be at the bottom. that is if the nfc south trend continues. the last place team wins the division and no team in the nfc south has had consecutive winning seasons. if that holds true the saints wont do better than 8-8 which to me is somewhat unlikely but very possible at the same time. new orleans was americas team last year but noone cares about katrina and that ballyhoo now so lets see how they do with a bullseye on em. the bucs will be tough this year especially with garcia manning the helm.

the midgets....lol....I don't see the falcons doing better than 6-10, but even that is giving them alot....and I don't think the nfc south trend will continue.....

Yea, but i believe the Saints overacheived last year. they easily could have been 9-7 or even 8-8. I know all the offensive stats, it was the defense i was worried about......anyways, i don't see them doing much better than 8-8 this year.....especially the way they looked against the colts on thursday....
