naw, fuck the war. we got all kinds of drama on our own
soil. we got our own issues to deal w/ & yet now we
funking w/ saddam?

here's why: oil & position. we go in there & take out saddam
we can insure our access to oil for the next decade as well
as gain a foothold in the middle east w/ which to strong-arm
the rest of the arab countries. not to mention this move is gonna
line the bush family's pocket w/ a shitload of cash, as well as their
friends. & insure that their industry, OIL, remains a cash cow.
for that american lives will be lost as well as thousands of
innocent people in iraq. more, counting the possible side-
affects of biological weapons, should iraq & US use them.

yes, we got the same "weapons of mass destruction" that bush
been saying iraq got. matter of fact, we GAVE saddam these
very weapons years ago & he USED them on the kurdish
people of north iraq, killing thousands. matter of fact, while
bush saying all this shit about iraq's illegal use of biological
weapons, what about russia? they just gassed over a 100
people in that theatre when the chechnyans took hostages
& held siege for several days. what about THAT use of
"weapons of mass destruction?" bush dont say shit cuz
thats his affiliates. it's a simple DOUBLE STANDARD of
politics.

but wait, there's more: saddam's ability to threaten us
deosn't have shit to do with his weapons programs in
iraq. iraq aint gonna be able to launch a missle into
america anytime remotely soon. at the most they can
deploy a "dirty" bomb, something y'all been hearing about
lately in the news. this is the kind of weapon terrorists
can put together. saddam's real threat, geographically,
is more towards isreal. which, if y'all haven't noticed lately,
has been shitting all over the human rights our government
claims to protect, the very same human rights our government
claims saddam violates. (which he does, lets acknowledge
the fact that saddam's 1 sick puppy) but isreal's on our
team, so we'll just ignore all the children they been shooting
or the mass arrests they been making, (& in a strangly ironic
twist, the isrealites have been marking those they arrest,
much like the nazi's did in WWII, tattooing the jews they
threw into camps.) or the tactical assassinations they been
doing on local palestinian militia-men using car-bombs,
missles deployed from fighter jets (geuss where they
got those from) & explosive cel-phones.
there goes that double standard again.

but wait: there's more. or maybe i should give the forum
over to the rest if y'all to speak your 2 cents.

dont get me wrong: i think a muthufucka like saddam,
who raised his 2 sons to be as sick as him (on their 15th
birthday they got to execute political prisoners; when they
were good, they got to watch videos of torture; when they
were really good, they got to watch videos of rape.)
has got to go. i think any sincere threat to america
should be dealt w/. i just dont buy the bullshit around
this particular war. & i dont agree w/ our government's
methods.

w/ that im gonna turn the forum over to y'all.

i think if we dont help cheer on the ppl from america that leave to fight the war theyre gonna have a hard time fighting, a lot of america is screaming NO WAR which is kinda like saying what the people are going to fight over there is wrong, they are brave enough to defend this country but all we can say is NO WAR, thats why we had problems in vietnam

^^^i disagree. the anit-war movement today isn't like
it was w/ vietnam at all. our soldiers, they gonna do
their part & w/ a hell of a lot more support than in
vietnam. nobody's spitting in their faces calling
em baby killers, either. you have the FREEDOM
to voice your opinion about anythang you want.
you may get stepped on for it, but that freedom
in itself is important.

we are not fighting for freedom, here. this is not
a war based on morals or righteousness. this is
a war about money & power. the very principles
of human rights have been corrupted by the people
runnig this war & those who support it. dont for a
minute think the reason we will put such an expensive
& costly campaign into action is for anythang else than
money.

"they are brave enough to defend this country"

we are not defending this country. we are going over
to someone else's country & shitting on the thousands
of innocents saddam will use as shields. point blank.

& if anything is being defended here, it's the right of
a false president & his oil-baron cronies to line they
pockets with money & power.

bah.

i feel you on that shit loki,it's like bush is just looking for a war,i always thought if you don't fuck with someone they won't fuck with you back, they say that if america attacks then they will blow up the oil fields, which in turn would lead to major problems with our economy, and saddams sons said that iraq would make 9/11 look like a picnic,i think all this stuff about how we should prepare our shit and do all this stuff in case of bio terrorism is bullshit, they say all that shit and then today they say someone lied about it,i don't believe anything this country has to say about the war or terrorism, but if shit is gonna happen then let it happen,i can't stop it.if this country cared about it's citizens then it would think about the outcome of war and all the outcomes of the shit they are saying will happen.ight, well that's my 4 cents.lol.oh yeah, about osama, they found some tape of him talking about terrorism on the u.s. the other day, they say it is a recent tape so they think he is alive somewhere.

I think Bush and the Government should be more worried about Korea, those fools have bombs already built that can reach Cali in one shot.
I don't think Bush should be pullin' all this war bullshit, he's just tryin' to finish up where his Father left off.

real talk loki... but you guys have to realize that in order for the united states to maintain its position as a world leader, meaning keeping a foothold on our position of the food chain, to keep us credible for any future threat we cannot back down now. If you draw the sword there is no putting it back. If we back down at this point other countries who are watching our moves very closely with Iraq i.e. North Korea will recognize this weakness and take advantage of it. How can we maintain our credibility as a nation and as the world’s most powerful military if we do not act on what we preach? Everyone knows the conflict is about oil, and the WMD is just a scapegoat... But in the world's political arena credibility is crucial. Think if a year from now the production of WMD is evident, and we step in and say "this time we are really serious" would anyone listen? And what about our allies? Kuwait, Qatar and Turkey they all are sticking their necks out, supporting us in a very dangerous neighborhood. Also Bush's road dog Tony Blair supports American action despite the fact that his nation, majority of his cabinet, his party and parliament all oppose a war, they would never back us again if we were to back out now.

The reason we didn’t back down in Vietnam was also a credibility issue, we were determined to win, yet it was a war that we would have never won and we should have came to that realization quicker. When we did leave the international climate was affected, an increase of Soviet and Cuban forces toured third world countries scouting for communism.

So basically what i am trying to say is; it would be devastating if the US were to bitch out right now... We would carry no clout. If we backed out it would show weakness and Kim Jon II will recognize this and aggress further. I say cut the bullshit and bomb tonight.

haha... our society runs on oil... their (Iraq) societies success is contingent on us buying oil from them. For all the people who are not willing to die for our country and the oil we need, they can go to Korea and pick rice with no electricity ... Either we take out a terrorists regime, rebuild their country and its political system so it benefits our people and theirs or drill Alaska and ruin its environment. In the long run we would be saving lives. Ponder there for a second and think about our lives with out oil.

thats just my opinion
