I am working on assembling a NW Hip-Hop coalition that will focus on the growth of NW hip-hop as a whole. It will help service artists in the NW with these services:

Street Promotion
Distribution
Live Concert Booking
Publicity
and other services

I will be arranging a meeting in Portland, and I would like to have all movers and shakers from the NW attend this meeting. I am looking at setting this meeting up Aug. or Sept.

This is going to be a serious plan and movement, and I would like to have all power players involved in this movement. I am only interested in having serious players a part of this, and I am ready to set up some real huge moves for the NW as a whole, and the only way to do this is through an alliance of powers in the NW.

This is exactly what the NW needs. Experienced and knowledgable leadership. The first challenge is finding people who fit the bill. Second challenge is to get everyone else to understand and accept that they don't, and that it's time to listen, learn, and take direction.

Glad to see you stepping to the plate! You're one of the few who are qualified to head this type of coalition. Much success!

i hate to sound or seem like a bitch, but only havin "big playas" < as you call it involved aint the way to do it, get everyone involved, i know some hella tight cats that would blow yur mind, but they aint even recorded yet, cause they cant afford to, i just hear um flowin round the spots and see um writen all the time, you get all those cats involved as well and that shit would do some good shit for the northwest, we really need to get new flavors involved, most of these "big playas " sound alike, and not a grip of people outside the city they from are feelin um, you need to cover every flavor and reach out to a wider audiance. its tight to see u tryin to do shit, props for that, thats what we need, people tryin to make power moves, but itd be more effective with the little guys involved too.
