New Assassin's Creed Reveal in May

Ubisoft will unveil its newest Assassin's Creed title in just a few short months.

CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed on this morning's earnings call the publisher will release another title in the series later this calendar year and that we'll hear details this coming May. Guillemot wouldn't budge any further when asked for more information, but stated the game will be a "packaged title," likely ruling out it will be a smaller, expansion-style product.

Ubisoft also said Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, released last November, has shipped over 6.5 million units worldwide to date. A PC version of the game will be released this quarter.

WTF? I thought AC: Brotherhood was AC3
Nah it was a sequel of sorts to Assassin's Creed 2. It expanded more on Ezio's story.

It made it really cool because it also expanded a lot on what was going on in what we think is present day with Desmond, Lucy, Shaun and the other chick (can't think of her name).

I would complain with other games being so quick, but somehow they manage to pull it off.

I thought Brotherhood was one of the most underrated games last year. I was very skeptical at first because it seemed too soon from AC2, but nope, that shit was dope

When Desmond touches the Apple and all those holographs show up, Shaun says there is a Phrygian cap and a Masonic eye and that there is only one place where both of those show up. I looked it up and they're both on the Declaration of the Rights of Man, which was created during the French Revolution. So a lot of people think AC3 is gonna take place in France during the 18th century. Here's a picture of the Declaration of the Rights of Man. There's the Masonic eye on the top and the Phrygian cap on top of the spear in the middle.
