turn off the phone computer and lock myself in the room with a book and paper and pencil to focus on my work

That would work, except for that I have to use the computer to write my term paper. So with the computer being on, I end up on the Sicc instead.

tell some1 to block the siccness with a password, when your done with your paper ask them for your password
