I made a thread earlier about how much of an idiot he is and whether or not anyone took him seriously because I dont. Then I speculated that he might be some one's alter ego. It was deleted in less than 2 minutes. I was going to argue how it shouldn't have been deleted since there are similar threads discrediting other GOM posters (namely Stockton) and since I didn't feel I had violated any of the rules that were established when 2-0-Sixx became Mod. But I lost interest in the middle of my rant and gave up on it until I read not so much what he's said so far but how he's said it. Namely his air of superiority.

I don't see too many people out right denying evolution, a lot of people just don't take the theory at face value and demand more evidence, maybe there's more to it since we didn't observe it. You don't see anybody questioning earth not being the center of the universe any more, that has been proven definitively to be false.. "Appealing to authority", or claiming that you don't take some one as seriously because they don't believe the same thing as you do is a logical fallacy, and isn't a valid argument. Also, this dude has virtually no scientific knowledge whatsoever, he stays safely with in his zone, he is not a well rounded individual as can be seen in his reading and writing comprehension and his lack of participation in other threads; I've called him out on this. He focuses 10% of his brain all on one subject and commits his life to it. That is not scientific superiority. Neither can you claim that he's an expert or knows more about Theism, that rightly goes to Heresy and Stockton imo..

You are right I imitated HERESY's style and to do so I posted a random article about a study that doesn't really prove anything, except that it says "Atheism is on the rise" in big letters

This is the part of science that I admire and appreciate, the part that has the humility and open mindedness to accept the fact that we do not know everything, but are trying to move towards truth and understanding.

So you can't require anyone to know theism in order to be a well-rounded scientist

I think I've done more than just "taking biology classes" (well, don't expect me to give you a list of publications, internet is supposed to be an anonymous place) and I think Nobel prize winners know more than you about evolution so whatever you learn from them can certainly be used on a board such as this

Moreover, last time I checked nobody has both a Nobel Prize in medicine and physiology and a Fields medal so great scientists seem to be sticking to one particular area. This is not going to change as knowledge in different disciplines becomes deeper and deeper because the human brain has certain limitations
