They wont....the NL West and AL West representatives are the weakest links this year...Mets,Twins & Yankees look the strongest....
Just think....if the A's & M's reversed records against eachother this year....the M's would be atop the AL West and the A's would be the bottom feeders..

The Angels or Rangers could have done just as well as the A's against that garbage ass team, but they couldn't get it done.
You know there's only like four guys still around from those teams, right? What does the past few years have anything to do with anything?
The Mariners won 116 games once in the last few years... Doesn't say much about them now though.
By the way, the A's went 6-3 against the Yankees this season, including a sweep at Yankee stadium, and this happened in the first half when the A's were playing MUCH worse.

if a's play twins got no chance. once the a's win a round i give them credit. the last playoff series in 2003, up 2-0 on boston and lose in 5 games. and if my memory is right the a's had a 2-0 lead against the yankees a years before that.
and serious question to a's fans. do u think your team is any better than other previous playoffs teams? i think the htting is better this year with frank thomas and swisher than last year but dont about in 2003 and pitching is definately not as good as in 2003 but still very good .
