Go read it again. I said the defense kept the Niners in the games they won, the offense didn't do SHIT. In other words, the Niners' offensive situation was worse than the raiders'. Which translates into Walter having it easier than Smith. Which in turn makes Walter's situation better.
You must have forgotten there's 2 sides of the football, and a QB is only responsible for one side.
Maybe a little better.."much better" as you said before is exaggerating. Its pretty much the same story this year with the Raiders D playin well enough for games to be won, but the offense isn't executing. Its impossible to do anything if the offensive line is constantly causing stupid ass penalties and breaking down in blocking. The game against Denver was winable if the offense didn't shoot themselves in the foot so much. Maybe the offense isn't as bad as the niners last year but its still not a good situation to be in your first year as a starter. I think Walter has done a pretty good job. Im glad he's getting his experience now instead of havin Brooks start.
The fact that he has weapons around him makes it much better. Granted, they are not executing well, but they have the power to do it. The Niners not only had no playmakers, but they were also unable to execute.

You know nothing about football if you're going to sit here and brag about Mike Nolan focusing on defense. Your defense have given up over 30 points twice this year and over 40 points twice. Your defense is the reason your team has been getting blown out you dumb bitch! Learn something. I don't believe you're that damn stupid.
