Artists...who's opinion do you hold higher...other artists, or the average joe...?

Artist as in other graphic artist? If so I strongly believe other artist can help you get closer to perfect. Other artist know technical bullshit and fine detail. Your average Joe is impressed by everything...Just look at what goes on in here.

if its the second one most def other artists, listenin to the average joe will have you stuck at the same level... give the average joe some pen n pixel shit 90 % of the time if they havent been exposed to better shit they will like it...
