im 23, Basically been doing poetry since 93 but never started emceeing till like 99. around that time i followed my brother around to emcee battles. Every battle I have been to from sac to the bay they respect me since they knew my brother and around 97 to 99 my brother was undefeated with around 100+ emcee comp wins and out of no were the battle b4 he was going to join the one with eminem this one dood(forgot his name) ate my brother in a battle. So i got mad started going to every battle in sac to stockton all over south sac and just kept battling. 2001 decided i had the wrong approach since i didnt want the young kids to believe in battling so i started doing more spoken word. Won a lot of slam comps to the point i wasnt allowed to enter any in 2002 in sacramento and texas. so i just kept freestyling and doing poetry around for fun. 2005 made the live manikins (the only way to get in was to freestyle for 10+ hours) my brother made it, my homie runtrock made it.this one dood i met from stockton lasted boot camp. FOund a dj from visalia that one over 20 comps and voted top battle DJ's in northern cali. Now we makin music collab wit heads, motivatin the youngins and just lovin life wit music....livemanikinsbootcampclik! haha

shit....I grew up in a house full of DJs. My Mom's brothers used to DJ in various clubs around the city, and they were always practicing their mixes and making tapes. I ALWAYS loved music, but when I first heard Hip Hop, I literally lost my mind. I havent been able to think about anything else since. I had to, in one form or another, be involved.

I tried the breakin' thing, but your boy is too damn clumbsy to be spinnin' on body parts. hahaha. I took to the turntables right away, because I LOVED the reaction from people when you threw a good song on, or mixed some shit they never have heard together. I got out of high school in 1990, and got an internship at KSFM 102.5 in like late '92-early'93. I started out just taking requests in the middays, to doing call-ins and impersonations on the morning show, to co-hosting the Flava Show for a brief time. I had this big idea that I was going to do what I could to get local artists and REAL hip hop on the air. I NEVER knew that I would face SO many obsticles and bullshit politics. I mean, we had at that time SO many styles of hip hop in Sac, yet NOTHING was gettin' ANY airplay. We used to have SUPER CYPHERS in the parking lot sometimes until the sun came up. Sometimes you'd see EVERYONE in the Sac Hip Hop community in that lot on a saturday night rappin' they ass off!! Due to all of the behind the scenes bullshit, I left the station in '94, and in a few months helped bring about Community Powered Radio 100.1 in Oak Park.

Now THAT was a radio station. We had alot of community events, and at any given time, Lynch, Bo, Homicide, Suga Free, Triple Beam, Redrum & OE, to name a few, would pop up and show the station love because we actually PLAYED their stuff!! Needless to say, KSFM hated on us!! We had a nice little battle goin' on for a minute. They even challenged our DJ, Slap-a-Pitch to a battle. We went up to KSFM, and Slap slapped Joe Pechi, and Jonas the Blender up something fierce. Pesci and Blend arent battle DJ's, they barely can mix, and Slap SHIT on those cats ON THE AIR. Had Pesci so damn frustrated, he was breakin' wax and shit....comedy. We got kicked out shortly thereafter, and to our surprise, the FEDS came knockin' at the station door. They came thru like we had WMDs, straight YANKED shit out the wall. We got it up and running a couple more times after that, but it just was too hot. We moved to Florin and 24th and set up 107.1. We were the first cats to play house music on air in Sac, and even gave it it's own time slot. That too got shut down, and I got into the business side of hip hop. I hooked up with my potna PFunk from the Beat in LA, and we did promotions and marketing for everything from chronic candy to Snoop.

I made MANY close friends in the community, and went to work helping promote everyone that would let me. This is when I caught microphone fever. Always being around people like the CUF, the Legends, Soul Clap, Fonke Socialistiks, Verbatum....inspired me to do my part to keep REAL shit alive. I started rockin' shows as Clap's hypeman, but after he dipped to DC, started workin' on my own shit. I met my fiencee, and started workin' with her cuzzos in the studio. We knocked out a few songs, but never did shit with them. One day I found the siccness, and it's been all uphill since. I've been on several compilations and mixtapes from here to KC, and have got to work with a lot of people I respect in the game.

DAMN......sorry I wrote a friggin' book, but shit I'm an old dude, and you did say history, so who better to talk about history then a dinosaur. hahaha

I think the year was 1988 I was about 12 my father was already in the music industry. My older brother started writing raps i found myself taking his raps remembering them and then saying them to the homies at school, after a while i decided to start writing lyrics myself. My resume is pretty long so i'll keep it short and sweet.

so i'll just make a list:

91 hooked up with G-Macc and 2 dope records
by 94 G-macc's album was released entitled underground hitlist i actually co- produced a few tracks and featured on accouple songs this was my first time behind the mic in a real booth.
in 95 i started to produce my own album which was titled The end of the world but never got released and to this day 2 dope still hold possession.
96 i hooked up with mr.doctor
shortly after he was arrested and spent the next 17 months away.
by 98 we hooked back up and began recording Mr.doctor's bombay album which i helped coordinate alot of the hooks and some of the singing and what not and also had some quest appearances.
99 the album dropped and we went on tour.
2000 we dropped the Odysea album which consisted of myself, mr.doctor, foe loco, and babe reg
2001 i signed with asphalt records and recorded an album entitled hell's cabin but asphalt chose to release another project first and then went belly up under the wrong distribution they still have that project to this day.
2003 i hooked up with apartment 3 we together put out the enemy of the world album which even though was rush was still lyrically sound. Could of used a better mix and master as well but that's neither here nor there.
2004 began work on the weight of the world album finished the album but then cut ties with my business partner at the time.
2006 began work on the new album Throw Dis album away which i just completed.

THERE IS SO MUCH more in between but it'd take forever to type...

Im 20. I started out in music playing the saxophone. I eventually became the best player in my island. I moved to the US in the early 2000s. My dead beat dad promised to buy me a saxophone so I could continue in music. When I realised it was another one of his unfulfilled promises I had to find another means of using my musical talent. The closest thing I could find that was inexpensive was FruityLoops on the computer. I went on to be a higher intermediate and produced for friends in my high school. We eventually started a three man group with me being in the background as the producer. The would come to my house to record on my computer. The only problem was the rappers of the group had a hard time staying on beat so I ended up writing most to all of their lyrics. The other members where not as commited as I was. They just thought rapping was instant success and no hard work. They eventually started missing sessions and stopped recording all together. Since I was the only one commited I picked up the mic and let loose. Soon after I got a name in my school. I sharpened my battling skills and battled everyone who challenged me in the schoolhouse. I only lost my first battle. One of my friends had an internship with PoeBoy Records (Jackie-O, Rick Ross). He took me to the CEO and I rapped several verses for him. At the time I was to return to structure how I was going to be apart of the label, I got caught up with some legal problems, so I could not return. After that I told myself I would never miss another oppurtunity. I read a piece of JTs CEO manual that told me to "use one hand to wash another". I learned Photoshop and would network with producers in order to get beats. After a short success I decided to take my skill nationwide. I first hooked up with Traxxamillion and laid the blueprint for the Slapp Addict cover. I eventually moved on to TheMekanix, JStalin, Lee Majors, Harm and many other artists from the Bay Area. As I spend time trying to perfect my next debut album I use graphic design as a means of hooking up with people. I eventually hooked up with G-Macc and did the artwork for 3 of his upcoming releases. Also Big No Love from C-Way Muzicc and landed a deal where I could release an album through the label. I currently do the artwork for Khayree and Young Black Brotha Records. The rest is history...

Me personally I used to be in a little garage band with my boys from about 5th grade through 7th grade but I always wrote rock songs in the form of raps. so 8th grade my boy moved up from LA and another from Seattle. We all started writing straight rap songs and got serious about 1 year later. So since the summer of ninth grade, (I'm now a 11th grader) I have been persuing this rap thing.

Shit, I only been makin beats/rappin since 02-03. SOLIDLY, since 04

I tried a few times before that, but I couldn't stay interested in the studio cause was too deep in the streets, I won't incriminate myself so we'll leave it at that.

Pops was in nu shuz from lik 84-87, played the bass, co wrote "I can't wait", earned a gold record, was grammy nominated, then got fucked out of his deal so we stayed in the hood broke.

Grand pops was a legendary upright bass player in little rock/new orleans/st louis/kansas city/shreveport.

It was natural for to me to make music. Its second nature.

dropped and album in late 04 that consisted of some of my first recordings, mixes, mastering jobs, but know one belives me when I tell em that.

The I started work on my second album, and recorded about 4 albums of material, but I started gettin interest from lables so I never released anything else.

Now I signed a production deal wit nellys production team, and got a solid legal team (jermaine dupris entertainment lawyer, who's daughter was on sweet 16 wit g unit performin at her party if yall saw it) and management team (demetrius bledsoe who's helped jumpstart hella careers like chingy, track stars ect... and sylvester carter, who's first ever deal he inked was destinys child's 3 million dollar deal), and now I'm workin on plenty of projects rangin from nelly, chingy, ti, usher, twista, lynch, danity kane, to twisted insane, chopah, and more.. I honestly can't remember erryone but yeah that's pretty much errything so far..
