Man, I just gott say. Take this for example - how many Jay Z, or P Diddy, or who knows who the fuck ever those cats are into can get onto a forum and just chat and kick it with their favorite producers and artists?
I just got done with a OE forty so I'm kinda mouthy rit now but - damn, everyone from Quipto and Bigga Figga, APT 3, Playa Jay Tee, Mr The DE, 5050 Records, Pat Rich, B-12, Olivia from MDD.com, Smoov-E, NBD, Mark 7, MDASH, Kontac, Kos, etc.... only to name a quick 5% of folks who get on here and chop it up with us regulars. Damn, I mean, that's personal.
We're all some fans on here. But to have the actual people we listen to and support come on here and gab with us about (not just music) but everyday life, for the past few years here on BART has been off the hook, and a real privalage.
Some folks feel good when they buy some new fuckin 50 Cent album or be one of 2 million people watchin him on MTV . But I feel GREAT when a cat that I look up to and spend plenty of money on his albums and tix for a show gets up on this relativly small chat and chops it up with all us folks who are just everyday people. (Pretty much just like all the cats we listen to.).
I just have to say this - from my heart - it's a real privelage to be on BART.
I resptect all these cats even more when they take the time to get on here and let all of us know they appreciate us talkin/buyin/chattin, etc... about them.
And to Playa Jay Tee especially - this cat (Who I been followin since Back 2 The Hotel, hardcore fan) pretty much updates his site weekly with new threads and replies. Seriously. Much respect to all you artists (even who examples I didn't mention).
Keep on postin.
