Man FUCK...this shit is RIGGED. Lakers are just getting all these players like it's nothing. I honestly think we're going to see an 04' repeat where everyone thinks they have an all star team and they implode.

Very true. Not to mention MUCH better. Payton and Malone were both on the tail end of the careers, not to say that they weren't productive bu they were former shells of themselves and the Shaq/Kobe drama was at its absolute highest at that point.

wtf are you talking about? did you hear artest he said he would play for lakers for free. we fucken made ariza, good luck to that fool going to a team where they expect him to be the leading scorer. no more open three point shots for ariza when kobe is getting triple teamed. if ariza aint willing to take a cut bounce the fuck out! kobe and shaq won 3 titles in a row with various supporting casts. kobe and gasol can do the same. and i do agree ariza over artest in the long run but better we get artest then not get anyone and let go of ariza.
After reading into it some more with todays news I agree. It's saying Ariza's agent tried to play hardball and get a big ass contract and the lakers pretty much said walk. Talkin about not feeling appreciated.. when his ass got placed into the starting lineup on a championship team?! I still like the guy as a player and to some degree feel bad that he's leaving but I'm not worried about the Lakers success in the future.

On a side note.. is David Lee really this guys agent? He hired another player to be his agent? Shit is crazy.

Ariza need to stay on the winning team. It comes down to what you in it for. To get paid BIG money but be on a losing ass team? Or to get paid a cool amount, but your team is constantly in the playoffs, the finals, your team is a contender. Cause when it all comes down to it, when they talk about the greats, they dont talk about what they was making when they were playin. They speak on them rings and them trophys that they got. Alot of these cats need to swallow they pride and just get in where they fit in

Some cats don't strive to be great. They just wanna get paid, look @ Marbury. He could've made major moves with K.G in Minnesota, but chose to be greedy and act like a straight hoe.

I think it has to do more w/ playing time than anything. If the Lakers had already signed Artest, that means less playing time for Ariza...

looks like ariza'a agent fucked up..coulda made the same amount of money with the lakers.

David Lee, started talking like a tough guy, parading his client on what one rival GM called “a leverage tour.”

The Lakers don’t believe he’ll leave, Lee kept barking. Surprise, surprise: Lee didn’t think the Lakers would tell him to get lost, sign Artest and leave Ariza to take the five-year, $33 million deal in Houston he could’ve had in L.A.
