What's up WiCkEd, long time.

I agree with those who are saying this is only beneficial for the short term. I really like Ariza and I hope to God he doesn't leave. I'm really torn on this one.. I think I would rather keep Ariza--he is constantly getting better on both ends of the floor--but we'll see what happens. Remember, Artest is relatively young at 29 (same as Kobe), but it's team chemistry that worries me. I definately DO NOT want to see either of them playing for Cleveland.

Holy shit.

Nobody can sign yet, not until Wednesday. He's as good as gone though. Pretty sad that the Lakers would give him the shaft like that for a bigger name. I don't know what to make of all this.

wtf are you talking about? did you hear artest he said he would play for lakers for free. we fucken made ariza, good luck to that fool going to a team where they expect him to be the leading scorer. no more open three point shots for ariza when kobe is getting triple teamed. if ariza aint willing to take a cut bounce the fuck out! kobe and shaq won 3 titles in a row with various supporting casts. kobe and gasol can do the same. and i do agree ariza over artest in the long run but better we get artest then not get anyone and let go of ariza.

ha ha ha, Kobe and Artest the whole season? Nice.

David Stern called Ron Artest like:

"Look, if you join with the Cavaliers its going to stack them too high in the East. How about you settle for L.A. and I'll let you keep your testicles and your money. You know how cheap dead hookers are in this economy."

If Artest keeps his head on straight, and he and KB24 can coexist, this is a great move by the Lakers. But I'm not one to like 'ifs' too much, and we know what we were getting with Trevor. I liked the energy he brought night in and night out. Will hate to see him move on, but if Artest can be what he has been on the court, and not be what he has been in years past off the court, Lakers will be stronger than last year.

Ariza you will be surely missed along with ex Lakers Ronnie Turiaf and you will not be forgotten. Hopefully someday you will return to LA. Until then welcome Ron Artest. Welcome to the next DYNASTY .
